Idea #147 – Computermouse replacement!

The computer-mouse is a genius invention, and plays a huge part in the personal computer becoming a part of our lives. But I thought it was about time to start thinking about alternatives, not like trackballs and such, but alternatives that are actually better.

I thought that the best thing would be to just move my hand, and the screen would react, and even without me touching the screen. And I believe we have known the necessary technology for years, just think about the first electronic instrument, the Theremin and more modern the air-piano. It is possible to follow, track and convert your movement in free air, and follow it on the screen, so I thought, why not make a simple USB-stick with the same kind of sensor as in the airpiano:

    Are you aware of the Microsoft Kinetic ? Kinda the same :-)

      Yes and same technology used for Sonys EyeToy and kinda same as the Wii-technology, so it should be rather easily made :-)

The idea of a 1000 ideas, is to get a 1000 ideas that are awesome, that could change the world. The ideas are new, innovative, creative and fresh, but there are big ideas as well as small ideas. It is all ideas for you and the world, its ideas to hopefully inspire, make you laugh, create optimism for tomorrov.

Awesome Moments – Its about whats awesome

When I get an idea its an awesome moment, and awesome feeling, which makes it an awesome idea. The idea, concept, creative hunch can be of none or very little value moneywise, and it may never become an awesome thing, but at that exact moment, when my brain gets the idea it IS an awesome thing, an awesome moment.
